Our Story
Steady Ground in a Complicated Subject
Tenura was built to fill a straightforward gap: most people in Thailand have access to pension schemes but limited access to plain explanations of how they work.
Back to HomeWho We Are
About Tenura
Tenura was established in Khon Kaen with a clear purpose: to make the language and structure of retirement schemes accessible to people who have never had occasion to study them. The name reflects what we try to provide — a firm, settled foundation from which individuals and organisations can approach a subject that often feels uncertain.
We noticed that the gap most people faced was not a lack of schemes or options — it was a lack of clear, neutral information. Documents issued by scheme administrators are often dense and use specialist terminology without explanation. Conversations with financial professionals can feel one-sided when the listener doesn't know what questions to ask.
Tenura's resources are written and structured to close that gap. We cover how schemes are generally organised, what the common terms mean, where official sources of information are held, and how to keep personal records in good order. We do not advise on individual decisions. We do not recommend specific products. We help people understand the landscape well enough to have more confident conversations with the professionals who do advise.
Our Mission
What We Stand For
Plain Communication
Every document and session we produce is reviewed for clarity. If a sentence can be simplified without losing meaning, it is simplified.
Neutral Positioning
We do not promote particular financial products or providers. Our role is to explain how things work in general, not to steer decisions.
Structured Content
Participants leave our sessions with materials they can return to. The knowledge doesn't disappear when the session ends.
Local Relevance
We are based in Thailand and our content reflects the structures, references, and official sources relevant to people living and working here.

How We Work
Our Standards
The principles that shape every resource we develop and every session we deliver.
Content Accuracy Review
All materials are cross-checked against current official sources before release. When regulations or scheme structures change, materials are updated accordingly.
Accessibility Standards
Written content is assessed for reading level. Our target is clear comprehension for a general adult reader, without any assumption of prior financial knowledge.
Data Privacy
Contact details collected through enquiries are used only to respond and to deliver the service requested. We do not share personal data with third parties for any commercial purpose.
Clear Scope of Service
We are transparent about what our resources do and do not cover. We direct participants to qualified professionals for situations that require personal advice.
Regular Material Updates
Pension scheme rules and documentation formats change over time. We maintain a review schedule to keep our resources current and relevant.
Participant Feedback
We gather feedback after each session and use it to refine our materials and delivery. The objective is steady improvement in clarity and usefulness.
Our Approach
Pension Education in Thailand: Why Clarity Matters
Retirement planning in Thailand involves several overlapping systems — the Social Security Fund, provident funds offered by employers, and personal savings arrangements. Each has its own rules, contribution structures, and documentation. For most working people, understanding how these pieces fit together is not straightforward, particularly when the available information is written for administrators rather than members.
Tenura's work sits in the space between the scheme documents and the people they are designed to serve. We do not replace those documents or the professionals who interpret them. We build the general knowledge that helps people read them more confidently, ask better questions, and keep their own records in order.
The Employer Briefing Pack addresses a related need at the organisational level. Many employers in Thailand offer provident fund arrangements as part of their compensation package, but the communication of how those arrangements work is often minimal. A well-informed workforce is a more engaged one, and the Briefing Pack gives HR and people teams a structured way to improve that communication without requiring specialist knowledge to deliver it.
All of Tenura's resources are developed with a consistent approach: start from what people actually need to know, use language they can follow without a dictionary, and provide materials they can refer back to independently. The goal is not to create dependence on our sessions, but to give people tools they can use on their own terms.
